StreamCreed releases can expose different labels and layouts, but the XMLTV workflow is the same: add an external guide source, fetch it from the panel, map the source's channel IDs to your own authorised streams, and refresh the client output.
EPGWise feeds provide up to 7 days depending on country and a 7-day free trial where eligible. They are programme metadata only — no video streams, playlists, panel logins, or content are included.
Step-by-step setup
Open the panel's EPG or XMLTV section
Sign in to your StreamCreed panel as an administrator and open the EPG, XMLTV, or guide-source area. Menu names can differ between StreamCreed releases, so look for the source list rather than a player catch-up setting.
Create an external guide source
Choose Add Source / Add EPG, select XMLTV or URL, and enter the private EPGWise feed. Keep the URL private because it contains your access token.

Save the source and run the panel's fetch, reload, or rebuild action. Confirm that programme titles and times appear in the panel's EPG view before mapping channels.
Map channel IDs
Assign the imported XMLTV channel ID to each matching stream. Do not rely on a similar display name when the same broadcaster has regional variants.
Refresh client output
Confirm the mapped streams are in the bouquets or packages delivered to your authorised users. Refresh the playlist or guide in the client after the panel update has completed.
The guide and the playlist are separate
An XMLTV source supplies programme metadata; it does not change a stream or create a playlist. StreamCreed needs a matching channel ID before it can attach a programme row to a stream.
- Check the imported XMLTV channel ID and the stream's EPG ID side by side.
- If the guide is empty for one region only, check the regional ID before replacing the source.
- EPGWise does not host, sell, or redistribute streams, panel accounts, or copyrighted video content.
Configuration tips
- Use .xml.gz when your StreamCreed release accepts compressed XML. Use the plain .xml fallback if the importer rejects gzip.
- If a source update is slow, let it finish before mapping channels; repeated imports can leave stale rows in a panel cache.
- The catch-up or source-type selector in a player is not the same thing as the panel's XMLTV source configuration.
Troubleshooting
I cannot find an XMLTV field in StreamCreed.
Look under the panel's EPG, guide, or content-source management screens. StreamCreed menu labels vary by release; if your licensed build has no external XMLTV source option, use its vendor documentation or support rather than changing stream endpoints.
The EPG imported but the app still shows no information.
Verify the stream's EPG ID, the bouquet/package assignment, and the client's guide refresh. A successful source download does not automatically map every stream.

Does EPGWise provide StreamCreed streams?
No. EPGWise provides XMLTV programme-guide metadata only. StreamCreed and your own authorised content infrastructure remain separate.
Can StreamCreed use the EPGWise .xml.gz URL?
Use the compressed URL when your licensed StreamCreed release accepts gzip. If it does not, use the matching plain .xml URL from your dashboard.
Why does a StreamCreed catch-up setting not fix a blank EPG?
Catch-up or archive settings control playback behaviour. A blank programme guide is usually an XMLTV source or channel-ID mapping issue, so check the EPG source and mapping separately.
